KuwaitFX is a free Android mobile application developed and published by Fintech House. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the KuwaitFX app, how it is used, and what rights you have.
KuwaitFX is a non-transactional, informational utility — it displays live Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) exchange rates for expatriate users in Kuwait. The application does not process financial transactions, handle monetary transfers, take commissions, or engage in any commercial checkout activities of any kind.
By downloading or using the KuwaitFX application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

To deliver daily rate alert push notifications, KuwaitFX integrates Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). FCM generates a temporary, non-identifiable technical device token on your device.

The minimal data handled by KuwaitFX is used exclusively for the following purposes:

KuwaitFX uses the following third-party services to operate. Each is governed by their own privacy policies:

Firebase services are provided by Google LLC and are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Firebase data may be processed on servers located in the United States or other countries where Google operates infrastructure.
The application may display non-intrusive banner advertisements in future versions to support ongoing free access for all users. When enabled, Google AdMob may use a non-identifiable advertising ID from your device to serve relevant ads. Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Note: At the time of this writing, banner advertisements are not yet active in the application. This section is disclosed in advance in accordance with Google Play Store policy requirements.
Any display name or home country preference you enter is stored exclusively on your own device using Android’s SharedPreferences (local cache storage). This data:
The anonymous Firebase session associated with your app installation may be retained by Google’s Firebase infrastructure in accordance with their data retention policies. This session contains no personal information.
Regardless of your country of residence, you have the following rights in relation to KuwaitFX:
Right to Access You may request confirmation of what minimal data (if any) is associated with your app session.
Right to Deletion You may delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app’s storage through your device settings, or by uninstalling the application entirely.
Right to Opt Out of Notifications You may disable push notifications at any time through your device’s notification on Home page: KuwaitFX → Notifications → Off
Right to Opt Out of Ads (Future) When advertising becomes active, you will have the option to use your device’s advertising settings to limit ad personalisation.

KuwaitFX is designed for and intended to be used by adults aged 18 years and older. The application is a financial information utility targeted at working expatriates.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through our application, please contact us immediately at knowledgepurposed@gmail.com and we will take immediate steps to address the matter.
